SCHOOL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM   

In this 21st century, we witnessed a lot of advancements in technology, the major advancement is the digitalization of information.

The technology keeps evolving and new features are updated in the products for making it a user-friendly

Education sector development and the no of children willing to have a good educated profile are increasing rapidly over the few years and so to help the educational institutions Team Pegasus main goal is to provide a completely customized school management system.

The school management system digitizes a school’s entire operations, beginning with enrolment management, student learning.

Minimum things we are planning to have in our site:

Administration Portal:

Administrator will have all the details of the faculty members, students, and all the staff working in the school.

Student portal:

                                           

A Student should register and fill in their details  so that accessing their data would be convenient for both faculty and the student him/her self.

Staff portal:

Staff must register and fill in their details which helps them to update student marks grades attendance etc and to display their status update to the school management daily.

Attendance :

Keeping track of these manual attendance records safely and accurately is a difficult task as there might be an unexpected human error and also some accidents. So to avoid these factors we prefer keeping records digital.

Fee:

In this modern era, parents are busy in their professional life so they prefer to pay the fee online rather than taking some time to visit the campus and paying. And also many school managements are not accepting huge amounts in cheque and liquid cash. so they are willing to pay the fee online.

How does it work:

• The Students and the faculty will be given an Unique ID at the time of enrolment by administration department and they can use this ID for registration in the website. This ID restricts the user to have multiple accounts and it also helps to avoid the outsiders to spam the website.
• The staff will be given an Unique ID at the time of enrolment by administration department and they can use this ID for registration in the website. This ID restricts the user to have multiple accounts and it also helps to avoid the students/outsiders to spam the website.
• Even the administrator will also have a unique ID for logging into the administration portal. The Administrators will be having all the data and they can update and retrieve the data from the database.
• The faculty will be updating the attendance of student daily.
• The online fee payment consists of total fee structure and details of fee paid and due amount.

• A database (ex: Mysql).

      

 VERSION-1:

• In the homepage, we are providing the basic information about the school and for more information the user can go into the about page where we are providing all the necessary info. For any queries we have provided a contact page with contact details and social media accounts.
• In this same page there is login and register sections. if a student or a staff member is already registered they can login into their account. If not they will first register and then login into their accounts.
• These registered details will be stored in a data base and these details are used during login.
• After logging into their accounts the students can only view  their attendance, marks and also fee details.
• After logging into their accounts the staff members can view and update the students details.
• The administrator will have the access to the databases (every student and staff details)

RESPONSIVE WEB DESIGN:

•  Responsive Web Design is about using HTML and CSS to automatically resize, hide, shrink, or enlarge, a website, to make it look good on all devices (desktops, tablets, and phones).
•  We want to add this feature in our software as most of the school students use mobiles/tabs to use our software which make it user-friendly.
